Volunteer Coordinator

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Northwest Cycling Club. The best way to get involved with the club and meet people is to volunteer. And there are so many opportunities for that, from being a ride starter to volunteering for one of the organized rides or races that the club sponsors.

Our ride starters bring water, Gatorade, and snacks for everyone's post-ride recovery and enjoyment. Think about being a ride starter; it’s not hard. Directions are on the website and expenses are reimbursed to you by the club.

Volunteer Appreciation Cards:

  • $50 Visa gift card to one ride starter each month.  All ride starters for that month will be entered into a drawing, to be held at the next club meeting.

Incentives for volunteering include the Volunteer Appreciation Weekend, being nominated as Volunteer of the Year, and obtaining a Super Volunteer cycling jersey. Plus, IT’S FUN!
