Barnyard Buddies

Calling on NWCC volunteers to help support Barnyard Buddies for a half day, at the Waller County Fair Grounds. Barnyard Buddies is a program to let special needs kids from area schools enjoy a morning of fun and games during the County Fair. Each child is paired with a high school student who will guide the child to all the activities planned for them that day. Some of these activities include, Hay Ride, Ring Toss, Roping Center, Duck Game, Play Dough Center and many other booths along with the carnival rides for the kids to enjoy. You will be volunteering to help man one of these activities and help a child to have a memorable day.

This is part of our giving back to the community as we continue building our relationship with Waller County. I can think of no other opportunity than this one, which will show our support and provide assistance to their community and bring some happiness to the children. NWCC has a large number of retired members in our club and what better way to spend the day helping kids. So please join me in supporting Barnyard Buddies and bringing some joy to the kids as well as yourself. Please respond o this post by saying you will be able to attend that day. We are hoping for a minimum of 20 volunteers. Lets show that NWCC has a big heart and the volunteer spirit to give back to the kids and help our cycling community.
