Come join us for a VP ride on Memorial day morning! We will roll out from Hockley Community Center’s main parking lot at 8 am.

The route link is here: https://www.strava.com/routes/2965342959426434630.

It’s on roads our club knows well and uses frequently. Some of us know the route as the Red Roof route!

We hope to run two pace groups, one no drop/social, and one a bit faster rolling 15-18 (NOT no drop.) Dave Harman will be leading that group, the leader for the no drop group is TBA. If we have faster folks turn up, we can always add a faster group too (looking at you A group Zube folks… if you want it, you got it!)

Once we wrap up the ride, anyone who would like to meet up for lunch and drinks and to hang out, please head east to Willie’s Grill and Icehouse in Cypress. They open at 11, so we should get there right about that time. It’s counter service, and they don’t block off space, but they know we are coming and will be ready for a pack of hungry and thirsty riders. Just to be clear, this is not a club funded lunch, just an opportunity to come and hang out with your cycling buds! Feel free to have your non-cycling significant others come hang out too.

Hope to see your smiling, sunscreened faces on Memorial day for some miles and fun with the club!

Thanks,

Dave Harman
