NWCC Memorial Day VP's Ride

It’s time to officially kick off summer ride season with our annual Memorial Day Ride on Monday, May 29th.

This year’s ride will start from Tomball Memorial High School, (19100 Northpointe Ridge Ln, Tomball 77377), at 8:00am. While there is plenty of parking at the High School, there won’t be won’t be access to bathrooms.  We will use the parking lot on the southwest corner, where the front of the High School faces.

The route is about 30 miles and the links from Strava/ & Ride with GPS are below.

The ride is very casual, and we’ll organize in pace groups of various speeds, including a NO DROP group. The route has some twists and turns but is mostly along 4 lane divided roads with some residential streets.

After we finish the ride, head over to Mo’s Irish Pub in Vintage Park (138 Vintage Park Blvd, Houston 77070) for drinks and food. NWCC has reserved tables in the outdoor patio, and we’ll pick up your first drink. You can also order breakfast, burgers or whatever makes you happy (your cost). It’s a great time to meet and mingle and trade cycling stories!
