Houston Bike Clubs
Northwest Cycling Club
Northwest Cycling Club (NWCC) is a volunteer-based bike club which promotes the social, competitive, recreational, philanthropic, and health aspects of cycling through education, club rides, and club meetings. NWCC was formed in November of 1986. Since then the bike club has grown from approximately six members to an average annual membership of over 450. We proudly have held five titles for USA Cycling's Bike Club of the Year.
Major Taylor Cycling Club
Inspired by our namesake, the mission of MTHCC, a 501 c3 organization is to advance the sport of cycling through the support of recreational and social cycling activities which promote and provide positive health and well-being benefits to the community at large. We are a 501 c3 organization that believes in supporting the community of cycling and other the community at large.
Southwest Cycling Club
With over 150 registered members, SWCC has 3-4 organized rides for both road and gravel cycling throughout the week as well as special organized rides out of town, with our sponsor Trek Bicycle Houston, and in support of many local cycling events such as Kate's Ride. Weekday rides generally occur in the evening with morning rides available every Saturday and Sunday. All rides are weather dependent and posted on the SWCC Strava club page.
GHCF - Alkek Velodrome
The Alkek Velodrome is a hub of cycling excellence operated by the Greater Houston Cycling Foundation (GHCF). Housed in the grounds of Cullen Park in West Houston, is the Alkek Velodrome is a 333 meter, concrete cycling track with banking ranging from 33 degrees in the turns to 9 degrees in the straights. It was built in 1986 and has hosted everything from Local Racing to Nationals Championships & Olympic Qualifiers.
Handlebar Bicycle Club
The Handlebar Bicycle Club (HBC) is open to all riders. Whether you ride road, mountain, commute, gravel, race triathlon or hop cyclocross barriers, you’re invited to come ride with us. The Handlebar Bicycle Club (HBC) welcomes everyone, regardless of ability or interest in racing. Our club is open to all for membership throughout our cycling community. Annual paid membership in the Handlebar Bicycle Club offers its members a host of benefits.
Houston Bicycle Club
The Houston Bicycle Club is a social cycling club with different rides every weekend for varying levels of riders. Established in 1964, we are the oldest continuously operating bicycle club in the Houston area. Many of the most popular routes in the area were originally designed by HBC members.
Space City Cycling Club
Space City Cycling Club was originally founded as the JSC Bicycle Club in 1979 by employees of the Johnson Space Center. By 1995, the club had expanded to include cyclists from throughout the Clear Lake area. In recognition of its more community appeal, the name was changed to the Space City Cycling Club.
We ride at all speeds, slow to fast and everything in between. We’re not just a bunch of racers. We’re young and not so young. We’re all sizes and colors. We are connected by a common element — the love of cycling!
Cool Cat Cycles
Our Wednesday Night Gravel Ride is The Thing! Bring any offroad bike you have or rent one of our gravel bikes for a 24-mile fun on the levee, away from traffic, in the nature and with a great company.
Our Saturday Road Ride is for intermediate to advance riders with groups A and B. Min speed for 19mph in the peloton. Please note the all new route which bypasses construction in Fulshear Every Saturday 7:00am-9:30am.
Our Sunday Gravel Training is in Chappell Hill with routes varying from 40 to 80 miles.
South Houston Cycling
South Houston Cycling is a Cycling club located in Southeast Houston, TX. Our mission is to provide a training platform for all levels of recreational road cycling and endurance training. Feel free to send us an email, a message or just post a question.
Urban Bicycle Gallery - UBG Cycling Club
Sunday Urban Ride: Be ready to roll at 8AM. The routes are 35-plus miles with 1 rest stop. Riders should be comfortable keeping a pace of 18-20 mph.
Saturday Ride: (Beginners or slower pace ride after the 8am ride/look below) Be ready to roll at 8 AM. The routes are around 20-miles with no rest stops. Average speed 16-22 mph. Speed may vary depending on who shows. Safety comes first. Please follow all the rules of the road. A, B and C Groups.
Wednesday Night Urban Ride: Be ready to roll at 6:30PM. The route is 20 miles. Riders should be comfortable keeping a pace of 18-20 mph.

If you're looking for groups to ride with, look no further! It's safe to say that there is a ride happening every night of the week - a popular place for various social ride groups to meet and start from is Market Square Park in Downtown. You can also catch some of us on the first Sunday of the month taking part in BikeHouston's monthly ride! Houston Bike Social
The goal of HTX Bike Social is to promote cycling in Houston by providing a hub for avid cyclists of all types. Whether you are a CAT 1 racer, MTB junky, daily commuter or like to cruise your bike a few times a week, you'll find rides posted here for every kind of cycling. If you want to host a ride or know of cycling events and cycling friendly events, you are free to post here.
HTX BIKE SOCIAL, our premier event is the second Friday of every month. The ride location starts may vary but the roll out time is always 7:20pm so stay posted. Event invites will go out to all members 1 week prior to rides. HTX Bike social Ride is a cruising speed ride that typically maintains 15mph.
Houston Ladies Cycling Club
Houston Ladies Cycling Club-those interested in biking and road cycling. We will discuss issues and try to arrange meet ups and have fun. We can participate in organized bike rides or on our own at various locations around the city.
Concerns as it relates to biking, cycling, and nutrition are totally welcome. Goal-to bring us together and keep us fit. Those that have an interest are welcome! Any member will be able to post events to our group members. Must respond to pinned post.
Bikeland Developmental Factory Team
We are a locally owned and operated and have been serving the Woodlands since 2004. Our goal is to help promote the sport of cycling within the community. Weekly road shop rides are posted on the website. Directions to places to take mountain bike rides are also offered.
SLB Cycling Club
SLB Cycling Club is an employee, employee family and friends cycling club. Houstonians on Tandems Together
Hot is more than a description for the weather in Houston. It is the description of the personality of Team Hott or Houstonians on Tandems Together. We are a tandem bicycle club based in the Houston, Texas area. We know that not everyone is fortunate enough to live in the Houston area so membership is open to anyone. Membership benefits include monthly rides, discounts to special events and a monthly newsletter that includes valuable information on maintaining your tandems and upcoming tandem events.
White Oak Bayou Bike Club
The White Oak Bayou Bike Club is a Cycling Club for Houston's White Oak Bayou area.This group is for riders who enjoy riding the bike path and adjacent neighborhoods. This is not a racer's or hard-core riders' club. The only requirement to join is a friendly attitude and a desire to ride the bikepath with friends. Feel free to use this page as a message board to get rides going and post up pictures of riding and the sights along the bayou.
White Oak Bayou Greenway Riders
For cyclist of all types and levels who enjoy our White Oak Bayou Greenway Trail from Jones Road to UH Downtown. We post about construction progress, bikes, rides, scenery, places to eat/drink, things to watch for, businesses near the trail, etc.
Clutch City Cruisers
Welcome to the Home of CCC! Clutch City Cruisers (CCC) of Houston, Texas is a bike club that was formed in 2018 to promote unity through physical fitness, recreation, and an amazing social experience. Every Thursday at 7:30pm you can catch many different walks of life gathering downtown at Market Square Park to join in on the opportunity to experience the amazing city scape from the streets of H-Town. CCC will take you on a weekly slow-paced journey from the Nawfside to the South Side while providing you with an opportunity to get fit at the same time.
Critical Mass Houston
Critical Mass Houston is a casual bike ride starting from downtown Houston and going wherever. Cars rule the road every day, but one day a month we get together to celebrate our love for bicycles and have fun riding our bikes. This is generally a slow-paced ride where persons of all skill levels can participate.
People start gathering around 6:30 and we roll out around 7:15pm. We’re usually at our final location between 9:30 – 10pm, and each time we try to finish some place fun and hang out for a while. Meet up on the last Friday of the month between 6:45pm – 7:15pm at Guadalupe Plaza Park 2311 Runnels St, Houston, TX 77003. It happens every month, rain or shine. We’re pretty easy to spot, just look for the thousands of bicycles.

Cypress Creek MTB
Welcome to the world famous Cypress Creek MTB page, the first rule of CCMTB is don't be a jerk. We love nature, so we try to keep the trails as close to the original shape and contour as possible, we never cut roots and we don't ride the trails when wet or soft, due to our terrain and soil composition, that accelerates erosion and extends the trail recovery time, so please stay off the trails in those conditions.
