Membership Has Its Privileges
We offer both individual and family memberships.
NWCC Volunteer Center
Northwest Cycling Club (NWCC) is a volunteer-based organization. Everything that NWCC does depends on volunteers. All of the leadership is by volunteers. Training is put on by volunteers. Weekly rides are led by volunteers. Refreshments at rides, meetings and events are handled by volunteers. The big rides are completely supported by volunteers.
Participating in all the fun events put on by NWCC is what belonging to the club is about but those events would not happen if not for volunteers. One of the responsibilities of being a member of NWCC is that all members need to help out. We should not depend on the same people to do all the volunteer work.
Doing your part as a NWCC volunteer is actually a lot of fun. This page provides information about the many opportunities to serve. Make sure that you do your part to make the club a success. The club appreciates it’s volunteers and provides recognition and rewards to those that serve.

The 2023 Bluebonnet Express
The 32nd annual Bluebonnet Express will be held on April 23, 2023 and will start from the Waller ISD Football Stadium in Waller, Texas, approximately 40 miles northwest of Houston.
This fully supported ride is one of the Houston area’s oldest rides and Is presented by Northwest Cycling Club. Three different distances/routes will be offered, heading south of Waller, and then turning north going into Montgomery County and finally turning south heading back to the stadium. The routes this year are brand new and are 95% on back country roads, staying off most of the busier FM roads in Waller County. Cyclist can expect mostly flat sections and some gentle rollers. This fully supported ride is only one week away from the MS 150 making it an excellent training opportunity. The Bluebonnet Express is a MS 150 Recommended Ride.
